The project explores sustainable urban development in Xanten by transforming underused sites—such as the former car dealership, post office, and train station square—into vibrant, inclusive spaces. At the heart is the “Lackermann Quarter,” a barrier-free residential concept with 84 units, shared spaces, urban gardening, and semi-public courtyards. The design encourages neighborhood interaction, green infrastructure, and diverse housing, offering a model for livable development in mid-sized towns.
