Towards the Sun

Towards the Sun is an animated short film set in a distant future where humans no longer need to interact with one another. AI simulations control human lives, and just before the protagonist passes away, she steps into the outside world and is awestruck by the beauty of nature. The animation sheds light on the glorification and trust we place in artificial intelligence technology, as well as how humans yearn for a connection with nature.
